November has been declared Influenza Prevention Month in the city. The American Lung Assn. requested the city’s help in educating residents about influenza, which afflicts about 1 million Orange County residents each year, sometimes fatally.
The awareness campaign will promote free vaccinations in flu clinics across the county, provided by the Influenza Coalition. Information: (714) 229-6680.
