BUENA PARK
The City Council awarded a construction contract to All American Asphalt Co. for the reconstruction of Haldor Place during last week’s meeting.
The Corona-based company won the contract with a bid of $228,413, which is almost $20,000 below what city officials had estimated for the project.
Work will include new curbs and gutters, sidewalks and driveway approaches. The city will fund the project using Federal Community Development block grants.
