YORBA LINDA
The Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace will celebrate the upcoming holiday with its annual Old-Fashioned Labor Day Family Funfest on Sunday and Monday. The gala will feature sand sculptors who will create scenes from the White House, a petting zoo, sidewalk chalk art, face-painting, K-9 Frisbee teams and apple pie for the first 50 visitors each day.
The event is free but visitors must pay regular library admission, which is $5.95 for ages 12 and older, and $2 for ages 8 through 11. Admission is free for ages 7 and younger. The library is at 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd. Information: (714) 993-5075.
