Labor Day Closings
Monday marks the celebration of Labor Day, set aside to recognize labor’s contribution to the nation and the traditional end of summer.
* Government and Business: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and many businesses will be closed.
* Transportation: MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules, and Metrolink trains will not run.
* Trash: Regular Monday trash collection for Los Angeles residents will be postponed until Tuesday.
