OUTLOOK
The off-season was not kind to the Cavaliers, who lost their coach, Ben Haley, to Anaheim, and their top two players, quarterback Brian Pilkington, a college pitching prospect who decided against playing football, and running back Brandan Perry (1,467 yards), who was declared academically ineligible. Recktenwald, an assistant at Los Amigos for six years, said Garcia, out last season with a broken collarbone, replaces Pilkington and Huffman will take over for Perry.
