INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center needs volunteers to assist the medical and administrative staff. A four-hour-a-week commitment is requested; training is provided. Also needed are volunteers to knit for newborns. Information: (310) 319-4614.
* Western Medical Center/Santa Ana needs volunteers for weekend and evening shifts to serve as receptionists in the main lobby, answer visitor questions and refer telephone inquiries. Volunteers can also help in the gift shop, receive patients in outpatient surgery, assist on the nursing units and more.
