REGIONAL PEOPLE

* Juli Goodwin has been named vice president of publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures in Burbank. Goodwin will supervise the publicity creative staff, manage the Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards campaigns and coordinate publicity for all Castle Rock Entertainment releases.

* Laurie Younger has been promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer of ABC Inc. in Burbank. In addition, Younger will serve as executive vice president of television distribution of ABC Inc. She will oversee Buena Vista Productions, Buena Vista Television and Disney’s international television business.

* Peter J. Schankowitz has joined Film Roman of North Hollywood as president of television programming and development. Schankowitz will oversee all aspects of television development and sales, including live action, animated series and specials.

Film Roman is an independent film and television production company and animation studio.

* Lawrence H. Hayward, president and chief executive of Leslie’s Poolmart Inc. of Chatsworth, has been appointed chairman. Hayward replaces Brian P. McDermott, who remains a member of the board.

* Troy Bosch has been appointed small-business market manager for Bank of America. He will cover the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County from his office in Woodland Hills.
