THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BREA

* South Kraemer Boulevard: An assault was reported in the 100 block at 7:25 p.m. Saturday.

* South State College Boulevard: An assault was reported in the 200 block at 1:01 a.m. Saturday.

FULLERTON

* South Magnolia Avenue: Someone reported a man in a blue truck flashing lights into the store at the clerk for at least 30 minutes in the 200 block at 2:56 a.m. Monday.

* South Princeton Avenue: A case of battery was reported in the 100 block at 7:41 p.m. Sunday. The victim reported he was riding his skateboard when a juvenile neighbor struck him in the arm with a hockey stick.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Street of the Golden Lantern: A burglary was reported in the 30000 block at 7:31 a.m. Friday.

LA HABRA

* West Imperial Highway: A hit-and-run was reported in the 1600 block at 2:56 p.m. Sunday.

LAKE FOREST

* Hermana Circle: A grand theft was reported in the 20300 block at 2:20 p.m. Friday.

* Ridge Route Drive: A burglary was reported in the 23300 block at 3:15 a.m. Friday.

* Rockfield Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 23600 block at 2:02 a.m. Friday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Green Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 4000 block at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Burglars cut through a screen in an open window and stole about $3,000 in property.

* Cerritos Avenue: A forgery was reported in the 3900 block at 6:59 p.m. on Thursday.

PLACENTIA

* West Livingston Avenue: Several loud kids in a church parking lot were reported at 12:55 a.m. Sunday.

* East Newton Lane: Police received a report that toilet paper was spread on a property and vulgar words were written on vehicles at 8:54 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin, Westminster and Yorba Linda.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.”

Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
