Newport Beach Community Services will present an eight-week series of drawing and painting workshops for beginners through advanced students in mixed media from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday and continuing Wednesdays at Vince Jorgensen Center, 2005 Dover Drive, Newport Beach. The cost is $66 for residents and $71 for nonresidents.
