Tickets on Sale for Choreography Awards
Tickets are available for the sixth annual American Choreography Awards taking place Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Awards will be handed out for the best choreography in motion pictures, television, commercials and music videos.
Nominees include Paula Abdul (“American Beauty”), Susan Stroman and Chris Wheeldon (“Center Stage”), Joe Malone (“Ally McBeal”), Michael Rooney (Fiona Apple), Travis Payne (the Brian Setzer Orchestra and Mandy Moore), Rob Marshall (ABC’s “Annie”), Jerry Mitchell (“The Drew Carey Show”), Alan Johnson (Gap ads) and Vincent Patterson (Coca-Cola ads).
Performances are scheduled from Cirque du Soleil choreographer Debra Brown and from Tina Landon, whose clients this year have included Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin.
Tickets are $35 to $250.
