Mayor Debra Lewis will speak at the grand opening of the Santa Margarita Marketplace at 10 a.m. Friday.
The center will be anchored by large retail stores such as Lowes, Staples and Pier 1 Imports. It is on Santa Margarita Parkway near the 241 Toll Road.
