Coulson to Head Broadband Interactive

Andrew R. Coulson has been named chief executive of Broadband Interactive Group in Irvine, a privately held company specializing in interactive television programming. He had been a consultant to the company. Before that, Coulson was a member of the senior executive staff at the Samueli Foundation and spent six years as vice president of systems and operations at Monitor Labs. He also was at TRW Electronic Systems Group for 11 years. In addition, C.J. Olivares was appointed executive vice president of a division, Bluetorch TV. He previously was interim chief executive at Broadband and, before that, senior vice president of television, events and publishing.

Thomas R. Wawersich has been named vice president of mergers and acquisitions at First American Corp. in Santa Ana. He joined the company in 1992 when he was appointed assistant vice president-corporate taxes for its principal subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Co. In 1997, he assumed additional duties as director of mergers and acquisitions for First American. Before joining First American, Wawersich was a senior tax manager for Price Waterhouse in Costa Mesa.

Randy Brinkley has been appointed president of Boeing Satellite Systems in Seal Beach. He had been serving as acting president since March 7. Brinkley was formerly senior vice president of programs.

Daniel R. Huff has been named senior project manager at Pepper Construction in Irvine. He previously was senior construction manager at Walt Disney Imagineering and project manager at Fluor Daniel.

Jeanne L. Stott has joined MBK Homes Ltd. in Irvine as sales manager. She had been sales manager for Shea Homes Southern California.

Isabelle Krasney is the new executive director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County. She was previously business development manager at Sam’s Club in Irvine, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

Rene Cardenas has joined Louis and Co. in Brea as corporate accounting manager. He formerly was a cost accounting manager at B. Braun Inc. Steve Byers was named Brea branch manager. He had been executive vice president for U.S. Wood Products in Lynwood.

Geoffrey Van Haeren, one of the two founding engineers of Aqueduct Inc. in Aliso Viejo, has been appointed vice president of solutions architecture. Previously, Van Haeren was director of software engineering for Aqueduct.

Tim Walker has joined Voit Commercial Brokerage in Irvine as a vice president of the company’s South County industrial group. He was formerly at CB Richard Ellis.

Oliver Evans has been named vice president of global sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa for BAX Global Inc., based in Irvine. He will be located in the Amsterdam office. Before joining BAX, Evans was vice president of alliances at KLM Cargo.

Gan Mukhopadhyay has joined Kleinfelder’s Los Angeles region as a senior project manager, based in the Irvine office. He formerly was a principal engineer and vice president in charge of public works, commercial and industrial projects at Leighton and Associates in Irvine.
