Zagat Survey Issues New Airline Ratings

It seems everyone is rating the airlines’ service these days, and Zagat Survey, best known for its restaurant guides based on volunteer reviewers, is no exception.

In its first airlines survey since 1998, issued last month, it ranks Midwest Express as the best domestic airline and Singapore Airlines as the best international carrier. Typically, its 31,500 reviewers offer candid remarks, such as “How about cleaning the jets once in a while?” (aimed at Greece’s Olympic Airlines). The “2001 Zagat Airline Survey” is not being issued as a book, but it can be viewed on the Internet site https://www.zagat.com.
