How Did He Do It?

Congratulations to Steve Delsohn on his “Talking Baseball” story (March 11). I don’t think anyone, anywhere in the world has ever cared less about baseball and/or the Dodgers than me. If asked, I would have described baseball players as something more than sweaty robots and something less than human beings. But for a few minutes, while reading Delsohn’s piece, I suddenly really did care. And I read every single word. How did he do it?
