No. 3 La Quinta 6, Pasadena Muir 0--Senior right-hander Bryan Kelley pitched a perfect game with 13 strikeouts for La Quinta.

In the Century League:

Foothill 6, Santa Ana Valley 5--Phil Alderson’s two-run single in the bottom of the seventh won it for host Foothill (10-5, 5-3).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Beach 2, Estancia 1--The Artists scored twice in the top of the seventh and Todd Merz pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts for Laguna Beach (6-8, 3-5).

Edison 3, Los Alamitos 1 (8)--Tim Robertson’s two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth, his second home run of the game, won it for host Edison (8-5-1, 5-2).

No. 2 Esperanza 3, Marina 2--Rick Taloa’s single scored Robert Nesbitt with the winning run in the the sixth for the Aztecs (13-2, 7-1).

St. Michael’s Prep 4, Liberty Christian 2 (9)--Andrew Bowdish struck out 21 and allowed only one hit in nine innings for St. Michael’s (6-2).

In Sea View League boys’ golf:

No. 10 Aliso Niguel 182, Irvine 203--Sophomore Joseph Kim had three birdies and shot three-under 33 for Aliso Niguel at Oak Creek.

In the Sunset League:

Edison 197, No. 4 Huntington Beach 200--Junior Daniel Lee shot one-under 35 and medaled for visiting Edison (6-7, 3-3) at SeaCliff.

In the Sea View League:

No. 8 Laguna Hills 2, Aliso Niguel 1--Jackie Eliades’ two-out single scored Dominique Lastrapes to cap a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh for the Hawks (18-4, 2-1). Lastrapes singled in the tying run.
