* History--Historical impressionist Peter M. Small will portray the late Golda Meir, the former prime minister of Israel, Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sherman Oaks Branch Library, 14245 Moorpark St. Small has performed costumed impersonations of historical figures, including Thomas Jefferson, Harry Truman, Thomas Edison, Moses and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, for about 15 years. He started as a history teacher in Maryland. He has performed at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library, Knott’s Berry Farm, the Huntington Library and Cal State San Bernardino. * Prodigy--Seventeen-year-old soprano Hallie Silverston will perform Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the University of Judaism, 15600 Mulholland Drive. Silverston has been honored by the Los Angeles Music Center Spotlight Awards, the Maryellen Clemens Scholarship at Cal State Northridge and Songfest 2000 Chapman University. Program: works by Rossini, Puccini, Donizetti, Menotti and Barber. A selection of Yiddish songs from the Warsaw ghetto will also be featured. Theodore Crain will accompany Silverston on the piano.
