Spotlight Is Thrown to Arrhenius at Arcadia
* The worst aspect of President Bush’s faith-based charities program is not that it forces taxpayers to support religions they don’t believe in, but that it will end up corrupting the churches.
When the churches become addicted to government money, the church/state issue will become moot. The churches will have become absorbed by the state and thus cease to exist as independent entities. The Church of America will then be in force, and its pope will be the president of the U.S.
