In other Pride of the Coast tournament games:

No. 10 Mission Viejo 9, Newport Harbor 0--Dustin Dorn had three hits and four RBIs, stole two bases and scored two runs for Mission Viejo (10-5-1).

Travis Herwehe (4-4) gave up two hits in 6 1/3 innings for the Diablos.

Pacifica 10, Santa Ana Valley 8--Jacob Clark was three for three with two RBIs and Travis Bernard had two hits and scored two runs for the Mariners (8-7), who play Mission Viejo Monday at 2 p.m. at Newport Harbor.

Gus Navarro homered for Santa Ana Valley (2-14), which made it close with four runs in the seventh inning.

San Clemente 7, Century 6 (9 innings)--Todd Greco, who was three for five, doubled home Justin Sweet with the winning run for the host Tritons (12-5).

Freshman Andrew Bovich (1-0) pitched the ninth to earn the victory.

Julio Ceja had two hits, including his fifth homer, for Century (3-12).

In the Anaheim Lions tournament:

Brea Olinda 6, Katella 5--The Wildcats defeated the defending tournament champions when Kyle Vaughan hit a two-out, two-run home run in the seventh inning of the first-round game.

Brian Henry was three for three with an RBI and a run for Brea Olinda (6-11).

Magnolia 4, Kennedy 0--Kevin Arbiso pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and drove in a run with a single for Magnolia (2-12-1).

Orange Lutheran 7, Anaheim 4--Robin Olson hit a solo home run and Scott Wooldridge had a two-run double as Orange Lutheran (8-5-1) scored six times in the fourth inning to wipe out a 2-0 deficit.

Chad McCutcheon (4-0) went 6 1/3 innings to pick up the victory, with Jacob Radomski recording the final two outs to earn his first save.

Ricky Sauceda hit his first home run of the year for Anaheim (9-8).

Valencia 14, Menifee Paloma Valley 9 (6, time)--Brad Bartczak pitched two innings of relief and had two hits and an RBI for the Tigers (10-7), who play Orange Lutheran Monday at 10 a.m. in a second-round game at Brookhurst Park.

Western 5, Servite 5 (8, time)--After the Pioneers (10-5-1) scored three times in the seventh on run-producing singles by Daniel Jorgensen and second baseman Andre Granda, Servite (3-9-1) tied the score when Granda misjudged a two-out pop-up for a run-scoring error.

In the Big West tournament:

Los Alamitos 6, Capistrano Valley 5--Ryan Tulay hit a two-out RBI single in the top of the seventh and David Whalley followed with a three-run homer to give Los Alamitos a 6-2 lead.

Capistrano Valley scored three in the bottom of the seventh, highlighted by Justin Demere’s two-run triple, but Griffin starter Erik Crichton (2-1) struck out the last two batters to end the game.

Marina 7, Moreno Valley Canyon Springs 0--First baseman Steven Armendariz drove in two runs in the first inning to put Marina (7-9, 2-7) in the lead for good.

In the Bishop Gorman tournament:

Tillers win two--Tustin beat Las Vegas Palo Verde, 9-7, and West Hills, 10-0, and was undefeated in four games in its division at the tournament. Bryan Harris had five hits and five RBIs in the second game and hit his first homer in the opener for the Tillers (10-7-1).
