Dead Woman Found in Street

A woman’s body was found sprawled in the street near a Garden Grove intersection early Wednesday, the apparent victim of a homicide, police said.

Police did not release the woman’s name, nor would they say how she was killed. A passerby initially called police at 3:50 a.m. to report a possible injury traffic accident on Lampson Avenue. The victim, police said, is in her late 20s.
