Master-Halco Will Buy a Fence Maker

Master-Halco Inc., a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of fence systems, said Friday it has agreed to buy the third-largest U.S. fencing maker for an undisclosed sum. The La Habra company said in a news release that it is acquiring the assets of Reeves Southeastern Corp. from its parent company, Diamond Home Services Inc. The acquisition covers 32 branches in the East and manufacturing plants in Tampa, Fla., and Birmingham, Ala. It also includes Southeastern Access Control in Tampa and Electronic Entry Distributors in Santa Monica. Master-Halco, a subsidiary of ITOCHU International Inc. in New York, operates more than 90 service centers, plants and corporate offices in the United States and Canada.
