Metrolink to Serve Ventura County Fair
Ventura County Fair patrons will again have the option of riding Metrolink to the fairgrounds in Ventura during weekends.
Ventura County Transportation Commission will charter six trains that will provide round-trip transportation from stations in Chatsworth, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura.
Morning and evening service will be offered Aug. 4-5 and Aug. 11-12. The fair starts today.
Fares are $10 round-trip or $5 one way from Chatsworth, $8 round-trip or $4 one way from Simi Valley and Moorpark, and $6 round-trip or $3 one way from Camarillo and Oxnard.
Tickets may be purchased the day of travel at train stations or in advance weekdays at Simi Valley, Moorpark and Camarillo city halls. All stations and trains are wheelchair accessible. For schedule information, call (800) 371-LINK.
