Street Repaving Project to Begin This Month
- Share via
The city’s Westside Street Resurfacing Project will begin Aug. 13. More than 25 residential streets near Ventura Avenue are included in the project, to be completed by the end of November.
The work will include resurfacing, sidewalk and curb repairs, minor drainage improvements and installation of sidewalk access ramps.
Additional preventive maintenance will be necessary on some streets, including slurry sealing and asphalt overlay.
Signs announcing street closures will be posted three days before work begins. Residents will not be allowed to drive or park cars on the street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. On some streets, driving and parking restrictions will be shorter.
