Pair Held on Suspicion of Fraud, Forgery
Simi Valley police have arrested a man and woman on suspicion of manufacturing bogus checks that were cashed at businesses throughout the city.
Simi Valley residents Anthony Randazzo, 39, and Teresa Ballek, 37, were booked into the East County Sheriff’s Station on charges of making fake driver’s licenses, possession of fraudulent checks and committing forgery, said Police Sgt. Robert Gardner.
Officers seized counterfeit U.S. currency, a computer and other equipment from a residence on Emeric Avenue Thursday.
