Braemar Is Host to Tennis Event Next Week
A prequalifying tournament is scheduled Sept. 1-3 at Braemar Country Club in Tarzana for the USBridge.com Tennis Classic.
The winner will earn a wild-card berth into tournament qualifying Sept. 8-9.
The 32-player singles main draw, Sept. 10-16, will feature Americans Mardy Fish and brothers Bob and Mike Bryan, as well as Dmitry Tursunov of Russia, Cedric Kauffmann of France and Ronald Agenor of Haiti.
The tournament also includes pro-am competition and a legends exhibition featuring doubles specialists Rick Leach and John Lloyd, former USA Tennis west regional coach Eliot Teltscher and Australian Ross Case.
