Sewer Agency Workshop Rescheduled for Dec. 19
A public workshop on new requirements for sewer agencies has been rescheduled for Dec. 19.
Last month, the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board said it would require more sewer line inspections and faster response to spills. Cities and other agencies that collect sewage also would have to fix crumbling pipes and report spills consistently.
The regional water board, which enforces the Clean Water Act and state water laws in north and central Orange County, rescheduled the workshop for 9 a.m. in the Santa Ana City Council chambers.
