Man Accused of Tagging Street Signs Arrested
A Thousand Oaks gang member was arrested early Monday on suspicion of vandalizing a street sign after deputies received a tip from a passing motorist, authorities said.
Brandon Robinson, 21, is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail for allegedly spray-painting gang signs about 2 a.m. at Olsen Road and Spring Meadow Avenue.
A motorist gave authorities a description of Robinson and his vehicle, and he was arrested after a brief chase, authorities said. A second suspect escaped.
Deputies said they were investigating whether Robinson’s gang was responsible for other graffiti.
