SLA Deaths
In “Olson Didn’t Hurt a Living Soul” (letters, Dec. 9), Ben Rosenfeld writes that the murderous L.A. cops incinerated six people. I watched that confrontation on live TV. The police fired a tear-gas canister into the house, which started a fire. The occupants had the opportunity to walk out with their hands in the air. They chose not to. That was their choice--to commit suicide rather than surrender.
