Peace on Earth

In these holy days, when people all over the world express wishes for God’s peace to one another, can one neglect to think about expressing thankfulness to God by being as peaceful as possible? Would not even half of the costs of warring and preparations for further warring rebuild Palestine, Afghanistan and many other places?

And would not that be a prudent course of action, replacing the hate/revenge commitments that cause the collapse of peoples and nature with commitments that repair and revitalize human minds, bodies and spirits, this fragile planet--all God’s beautiful creation?
