Corruption Probe Nets 24 in Hong Kong

Twenty-four people were arrested for corruption in the awarding of maintenance contracts for government projects, the territory’s top anti-graft agency said.
Police arrested 11 employees of Hong Kong’s Architectural Services Department, an engineer in the Building Department and 12 subcontractors, the Independent Commission Against Corruption said.
According to the statement, subcontractors provided nightclub entertainment, free trips to mainland China and Macao and prostitutes in return for contracts.
