Boy’s Family Sues Over Injury at Disneyland
The family of a 16-year-old whose foot was injured on the Alice in Wonderland ride at Disneyland filed a lawsuit against the park Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The suit alleges negligence and product liability in the Dec. 21, 2000, incident.
Blake Borbeck, 16, of Mesa, Ariz., suffered several fractures and a torn knee, said Amy Fisch Solomon, one of his lawyers.
Theme park officials said they had not seen the complaint. “We believe the facts will clearly show that Disneyland is not at fault,” said spokesman Ray Gomez.
