Holiday Closings
Tuesday is Christmas. The following schedule will be observed:
* City offices will be closed; many also will be closed Monday and some will be closed later in the week too.
* County, state and federal offices will be closed.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* City and county libraries will be closed.
* Banks and savings and loans will be closed.
* Public schools, community colleges, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will be closed.
* Mail will not be delivered and all post offices will be closed. Mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash will not be picked up; collections will be one day late for the rest of the week.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on the holiday schedule.
* Metrolink trains will not run.
