Freshman Rebecca Kepilino of Huntington Beach Edison matched freshman Ashlee Trebilcock of Newhall Hart with 22 points, but it was a couple of seniors who had the final say in Edison’s upset victory.

The Ziemann twins, Rachael and Bianca, came up big in the fourth quarter and lifted the No. 25 Chargers to a 61-60 victory over Hart, which is ranked No. 7 in the region by The Times, in a pool-play game at the Orange County Championship.

Rachael Ziemann scored four of her 18 points in the last 21/2 minutes, including an eight-foot runner, thrown up left-handed, with 52 seconds left that gave Edison (7-4) a 61-58 lead.

“I’ve done that in practice just messing around,” she said. “I guess you could say I’m lucky, but sometimes lucky is good.”

Bianca Ziemann denied Trebilcock the ball for most of the last 10 seconds when Hart (12-2) was attempting to set up a game-winning shot. Trebilcock’s pressured 30-footer was wide.

Bianca Ziemann scored five of her 10 points in the fourth quarter.
