Mother Reunited With Kidnapped Toddler
A 16-month-old girl who was snatched from a Chicago bus station by a stranger on Christmas Eve was reunited with her mother.
Marcella Anderson arrived at Yeager Airport in Charleston from Chicago aboard an FBI jet. She brought a teddy bear for her daughter, Jasmine.
Jasmine was found Thursday, apparently unharmed, in West Virginia. The woman accused of kidnapping her, Sheila Matthews, was arrested on a tip from her boyfriend’s mother.
About half an hour after the reunion, Anderson carried Jasmine onto the plane for the trip home.
