Pedestrian, 70, Hit, Killed by Car
SHERMAN OAKS —
A 70-year-old man died after he was struck by a vehicle Friday evening, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
The victim was in a marked crosswalk in the 5200 block of Kester Avenue at about 5:45 p.m., said Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells.
The name of the victim and information about the driver were not immediately available, authorities said.
