Schedule for ‘Bruce’ Altered at Canon

Bruce Vilanch’s solo show “Bruce--A Month of Mondays,” which was slated for every Monday in February at the Canon Theatre in Beverly Hills, has run into a couple of snags.

Vilanch, a comedy writer and “Hollywood Squares” regular, suffered a detached retina Friday. He plans to perform tonight because of a commitment to a group holding a benefit, but he asked critics not to attend.

His performance on Feb. 12 has been canceled because of a conflict with a rehearsal for a new cast for “The Vagina Monologues,” which occupies the Canon the rest of the week. “Bruce” performances on Feb. 19 and 26 are still scheduled.
