Collectors Universe Understated Loss

Collectors Universe Inc., a Newport Beach company serving the collectibles industry, said Friday it lost $102,000 more in its fiscal second quarter than it first reported. The company, citing an “inadvertent computational error,” restated its loss to $195,000 for the quarter ended Dec. 30. Earlier this week, the company reported a quarterly loss of $93,000.
