* Lawrence Kern has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of Dole Food Co. of Westlake Village. Kern replaces David DeLorenzo, who had been president and chief operating officer for the last decade. DeLorenzo will become vice chairman.

Dole sells a variety of fresh and frozen food products and fresh flowers.

* Dale R. Walker has been named president and chief operating officer of Digital Insight Corp. of Calabasas. Walker will lead the day-to-day operations of each of the business units of the company.

Digital Insight provides e-finance infrastructure for financial institutions.

* Eric Shepcaro has been hired as chief executive of BroadStream in Woodland Hills. Shepcaro will direct all company operations, strengthen BroadStream’s partnerships in the industry and expand its presence in the global marketplace.

BroadStream provides reporting, quality assurance and other services for media companies.

* Geoffrey Masaki has been promoted to vice president of special programs at Electronic Clearing House Inc. in Agoura Hills. Masaki manages the company’s Web-based products.

Electronic Clearing House provides credit card processing, check guarantee, check verification, check conversion, and inventory tracking to retail merchants and U-Haul dealers nationwide.
