Palmdale Man Pleads Not Guilty in 3 Killings

A Palmdale man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to killing three fellow gang members and wounding a fourth outside a party in Pacoima on Jan. 14, court officials said.
Juan Guillen, 24, reportedly argued with at least one of the victims before shots were fired. Joel Gonzalez, 27, of Arleta; Jesse Abel, 24, of Pacoima; and Jack Loutsios, 17, of Mission Hills were killed. German Lopez, 21, was wounded in the face.
Police said Guillen and the victims belonged to the same gang.
Several days after the shooting, Guillen turned himself in to police. He told officers he hadn’t done anything wrong and “worried about his family,” said Det. Jose Martinez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.
