St. Mark Will Stage Musical on Courtship

Witness a musical representation of romantic love during “A Broadway Bouquet” at St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach. The show, written and directed by television writer/producer Valerie Mayhew, features 10 performers in various stages of courtship. Proceeds will benefit the St. Mark Community Health Alliance, a nondenominational group providing support services for domestic violence, anger management, divorce recovery and other issues. Renewing Vows

The spirit of Valentine’s Day lives on at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Anaheim. The church will celebrate marriage with vow renewal services. The Latino congregation will renew vows at 7 tonight, followed by a dinner and dance. Cost is $25 per couple. Laughter in the Pews

Tackling Online Hate

Learn how to combat the “Seeds of Hate on the Internet” during the annual Fletcher Jones Motorcars tolerance lecture at the Jewish Community Center in Costa Mesa. Speaker Rick Eaton, a senior researcher at the Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Museum of Tolerance, will discuss his most recent effort to stop hate, the Globalhate.com museum exhibit. “Going Head to Head,” a Theological Dialogue Between Luther and Melanchthon, takes place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Concordia University in Irvine.
