Ojai Valley Adventist Sermon Series

Service Honors Martin Luther King

* The Rev. Betty Stapleford will deliver the sermon “We Can Overcome” Sunday at Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. The service will be in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.

Members of the Social Action Committee will join in the service to discuss the “myriad blights that plague so many in our society today.” The service will begin at 10 a.m.

Courses will be held each Wednesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The course work is designed to appeal to those who are curious to know why Jesus Christ is considered to be the Messiah.

Mass Schedule at St. Anthony’s

Life Design meets each Wednesday through March 14. The winter study topic is “A Way to Win: Aligning Attitudes,” written by Christine Wood.

In addition to the study, Life Design will offer a parenting class, a craft class, an exercise class and a time for women to get caught up on their small projects.
