The Fullerton School District’s Foundation for the Arts donated $30,000 to local schools Tuesday to help support music, dance, art and drama instruction for pupils in kindergarten through sixth grade.

The money will pay for about 1,600 additional lessons through the district’s “All the Arts for All the Kids” program, officials said Wednesday. The foundation donated $14,000 to the district this month to provide arts grants for teachers. The donations bring the foundation’s total contributions to the district to more than $200,000.

The Foundation for the Arts is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the arts as an intrinsic part of every child’s education. Information: (714) 447-7484.
