Funeral Services for Labor Activist Bert Corona
A Mass for labor organizer, educator and community activist Bert Corona will be celebrated on Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, 621 W. Adams Blvd. in Los Angeles.
It will be preceded by a march, with the casket, from the Cesar Chavez Health Center, 2501 S. Hill St. in Los Angeles, where a memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. The march to the church is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The burial service will be private.
The family suggests that contributions be made to the Bert Corona Memorial Fund at Hermandad Mexicana Nacional, 634 S. Spring St., 8th Floor, Los Angeles 90014.
