A Santa Ana man was sentenced to two years in prison after mistakenly calling the Tustin Police Department and offering to sell drugs to an undercover officer, authorities said.

Christopher Steven Cannizzaro, 26, dialed a wrong number and called the Tustin Police Special Investigations Unit on Jan. 8, police said. Cannizzaro arranged to sell methamphetamine to the undercover detective who answered the phone.

Police arrested Cannizzaro after he sold drugs to the detective at a home in Orange. Tustin and Orange police officers raided the house in the 1300 block of Chalynn Avenue and arrested five people on suspicion of possessing stolen property and other charges.
