Electronic Voting

I am writing to support James Q. Wilson’s suggestion that the country follow the county of Riverside and use an electronic voting system (“Riverside’s Investment in Making the Chad Obsolete,” Opinion, Jan. 21). I have voted in almost every election since 1958 (when I became 21), and this year was clearly the easiest and least confusing voting experience I have ever had. Three cheers for [county Registrar of Voters] Mischelle Townsend and her foresight.
