* PEPPERDINE (12-5, 4-0) at SAN FRANCISCO (7-12, 0-4), 7--Pepperdine has won its last six games, and senior forward David Lalazarian has played well since being demoted from the starting lineup, averaging 14.3 points on 62.9% shooting in West Coast Conference play. Brandon Armstrong continues to be the Waves’ most potent weapon. The junior guard scored 57 points in two victories over Loyola Marymount last week and averages 20.8 points. Darrell Tucker is the Dons’ only consistent player, averaging 17.3 points.

Steve Henson

Steve Henson is a reporter with the Fast Break sports team at the Los Angeles Times. He previously served as an assistant editor and reporter in the Sports department.
