Chaminade 2, Louisville 1--In a crucial Mission League game, the Eagles held off the Royal to remain unbeaten in league play.

The Eagles (13-4-2, 3-0) have not lost to Louisville (11-6-1, 1-3) since December 1995.

Tara Donoghue scored what proved to be the winning goal in the 23rd minute when she knocked in a rebound of a Kim Taylor shot that had been deflected by goalkeeper Kim Morgan.

The Eagles scored first in the 12th minute when Tina Lutizetti scored on a pass from Taylor. Jenny Farenbaugh scored on a penalty kick for the Royals in the 74th minute.
