Untreated Sewage Spills Into Park

A blocked main spilled 900 gallons of untreated sewage into a storm retention basin at Old Windmill Park, county health officials said Monday.
The spill occurred from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the park near Long Canyon Road and 1st Street. It was contained within the retention basin and did not enter any waterways, officials said.
