Why was Ben Davis criticized for his bunt single to break up Curt Schilling’s perfect game? The game was 2-0 and his gutsy play brought the tying run to home plate. Are the Padres supposed to just lie down and let Schilling mow them down?
Ben Davis earned my respect as a player who obviously wants to win and is not worried about some “unwritten code.”
