District, School Workers OK Tentative Pact
School officials and union leaders who represent 6,300 secretaries and clerks have tentatively agreed to a 10% boost in salaries and benefits next year, negotiators announced Tuesday.
The pact with the California School Employees Assn. is the last of the contracts to be hammered out between the L.A. district and nearly a dozen unions.
