* Concert Series--The ninth annual Heritage Square Summer Concert Series in downtown Oxnard will kick off June 15 with the Soul City Survivors performing their brand of soul music. The series will continue each Friday evening through Aug. 24, featuring a diverse lineup. Concert hours: 6-8 p.m. Heritage Square is at 7th and A streets. * Cars--More than 200 classic cars will be on display at the 13th annual Milestone Father’s Day Classic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 17 at Cal Lutheran University’s Kingsmen Park, 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks. Proceeds will benefit the YMCA, Under One Roof, ARC and Senior Concerts. $8 advance, $10 at the gate for adults; $5 for youth 10-18; free for children younger than 10; or $20 for family of four. 497-1955.

* Father’s Fete--The Channel Cities Jazz Society will host a Father’s Day salute June 17 at the American Legion Hall, 83 S. Palm St., Ventura. Hours: 1:30-5 p.m. The group’s monthly meeting and concert will feature a performance by Hux Reid’s Radio Band. An open jam session and dance will follow. Members $5, nonmembers $8. 985-8875.

* Silent Celluloid--The historic Olivas Adobe, 4200 Olivas Park Drive, Ventura, will host a Silent Film Night on June 16, featuring the 1916 William S. Hart western, “Hell’s Hinges.” The screening will include a live original score by Dan Redfeld. Pre-screening entertainment by the Old Time Fiddlers. The evening will begin at 7:30.
